Ooty also known as Udhagamandalam is the "Queen of hill stations" and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Nilgiris means "Blue Mountains". It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. Altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. An added attraction for the tourists to Udagamandalam is the mountain train journey which commences from Kallar, near Mettupalayam to Ooty. It draws swarms of tourists every year. The weather is quite pleasant at a mean of 15-20 degree C around the year, dropping to lowest of 0 degree C during winter. The landscape is marked by rolling hills covered with dense vegetation, smaller hills and plateaus covered with tea gardens, and eucalyptus trees.

DAY 01
Dep. from Chennai Central railway station by Train no: 2673, Cheran Exp at 22:10
hrs.
DAY 02
Arrival at Coimbatore Jn. at 06:10 hrs, Pick up from railway station.
Transfer to Ooty by road. On arrival, Check in Hotel at Ooty.
Proceed to Doddabetta peak and Tea museum.
Later proceed back to Ooty town.
Visit to Ooty lake and Botanical gardens.
Overnight stay at Ooty.
DAY 03
Morning visit the Film shooting places, Pykara falls and lake, etc
Proceed to Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary**
At Mudumalai, Visit Elephant camp, Jungle ride
Later transfer back to hotel
Overnight halt at Ooty.
DAY 04
Check out Hotel at Ooty
Transfer to Coonoor by Road (Option: Board the Nilgiri Passenger Train by 09:00
Hrs and transfer to Coonoor by Train on your own cost)
Alight at Coonoor - Visit Sims Park, Lambs Rock, and Dolphins Nose.
Later Proceed to Coimbatore by Road
Drop at Coimbatore Jn. railway station at 20:00 hrs
Dep. to Chennai by Train No. 2674 - Cheran Express by 22:15 hrs.

Arrival at Chennai Central at 05:00 hrs.
