One of the holiest Hindu temples, the shrine of Vaishno Devi is dedicated to the Goddess Shakti. Affectionately also called as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, the temple is the manifestation of the Mother Goddess. The temple is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft., a distance of approx. 12 kms from Katra
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1
Departure by Swaraj Exp. at 0755 hrs from BDTS to Jammu. Day & overnight train
journey.
Day 2
Arrival Jammu Station at 1600 hrs. Pickup and proceed to Katra (50 Km) by coach.
Check- in to hotel. Have dinner & Over night stay at Katra.
Day 3
After breakfast start ride to Vashnodevi shrine. Perform rituals- Arti, Darshan
etc at Mata temple. Return to hotel late evening. Have dinner & Over night stay
at Katra.
Day 4
After early breakfast proceed to Jammu by coach. Arrival Jammu and catch Swaraj
exp. at 11:15 hrs. to Mumbai. Overnight train journey.
Day 5
Arrival Mumbai at 1900 hrs.
